Francis joins Facebook

The Vatican is sorting out all the final technical details before the Pope’s Facebook page goes public.

Modernism is Heresy!!

Modernist Vicar Of Christ joining another social site. Sad. He will misrepresent Jesus Christ our Precious Savior and His Holy Catholic Church, as he has been doing for the past year and promote the church of Francis!!!!

Our I am so Humble pope boasts currently to have 12 million followers on Twitter and his tweets are retweeted more frequently that even President Obama’s posts are. (Lol) The Catholic Church’s Obama (Jorge the Destroyer) tweets reach as many as sixty million users.

Is it really advisable for our not so humble Vicar of Christ to garner even more praise on himself from the world? I think not and so does Jesus!! Our Lord has spoken concerning this:

The Hatred of the World

If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you. you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for my name’s sake: because they know not him who sent me. John 15: 18, 19 20, 21. (DRB)

St. Pope Pius X, ora pro nobis!!

(The  Vatican Insider )  -Francis will soon have his very own profile on the world’s favourite social network. The Vatican is just working on some final technical aspects before the Pope’s Facebook page is made visible to the public. The Curia has told Vatican Insider that the process is in the final stages and the Vatican’s tech experts are working on the page. IT technicians are currently looking into ways to prevent offensive or inappropriate messages and other  material from being posted on the Pope’s page.

Figures show that new technologies open up a sea of opportunities for this incredibly popular Pope who is adored by young people across the world, to spread his teachings. The Pope currently has 12 million followers on Twitter and his tweets are retweeted more frequently that even President Obama’s posts are. Francis’ tweets reach as many as sixty million users.

The papal Twitter account @Pontifex was launched at Joseph Ratzinger’s request on 12 December 2012, in eight different language versions. Latin was later added, on 17 January 2014, sparking great interest and clocking up a surprising number of followers. By the time Benedict XVI left the pontificate on 28 February, he had about 3 million followers on Twitter. The account went into “hibernation” temporarily during the sede vacante period and was then re-activated on 17 March, five days after Francis’ election. Since then, its popularity has soared. The Spanish account currently has the most followers, followed by English and Italian. But the Pope’s message are not just read by direct followers, five times more Twitter users receive them thanks to the retweeting option. The President of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, Mgr. Claudio Maria Celli, said over 60 million people receive the Pope’s tweets, which the archbishop calls a “spiritual pill” or “shower” that brings hope.

Pope Francis Apologizes For Prank Video Message To Evangelicals

Pope Francis is apologizing this morning after it was revealed that a video of the Pontiff calling for “communion” with Protestant communities was actually a prank. In a candid video taken from an iPhone earlier this morning, Francis expressed regret for the video sent to a recent gathering of Charismatic and Pentecostal ministers hosted by Kenneth Copeland, in which he stated that he desired “Christians to become one again.”

“No joke, Benedict and I were having a couple glasses of wine, and I remember saying, ‘You dare me? Let’s make a bet on it.’ I said there’s no way they fall for it,” Francis said in his video. “So I bet him that there was no way in a million years that you guys would fall for it. And that line about Catholics and Protestants being brothers and that we should all give each other spiritual hugs? Honestly? Benedict literally spit out his wine. I’m sorry and all, but come on…you actually fell for the whole ‘The miracle of unity has begun stuff?’ Seriously…now I’ve lost the bet and have to wear his red shoes all of Lent.

Francis also went on to say that he was utterly flabbergasted that the Pentecostals believed that they could truly become one with the Catholic Church despite the little fact that they are not even close to being in the same vicinity of agreement on core issues like the Canon of Scripture, the Virgin Birth, Clergy, Confessions, Eucharist, Contraception, and so on.

Francis did end his video on an positive note, though, saying that, “Other than that long list of Church teachings that you all disagree with, as well as your rejection of papal authority and the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, yes, we are one.

A question on the minds of a lot of Catholics and non-Catholics alike is why Cardinal Roger Mahony has not faced criminal prosecution, but it’s not one that the Vatican can answer. Ultimately, it lies with the Los Angeles County district attorney and the U.S. attorney’s office, both of which conducted investigations into allegations that Mahony covered up child abuse accusations and sheltered accused perpetrators in the Los Angeles Archdiocese.

Pat Archbold calls for Francis to embrace SSPX despite VII disagreements. National Catholic Register removes article.

Pat Archbold has written an intriguing post arguing that the Pontificate of Pope Francis is the best opportunity to bring the SSPX back into the fold.

I have great concern that without the all the generosity that faith allows by the leaders of the Church, that this separation, this wound on the Church, will become permanent. In fact, without such generosity, I fully expect it. Such permanent separation and feeling of marginalization will likely separate more souls than just those currently associated with the SSPX.

I have also come to believe that Pope Francis’ is exactly the right Pope to do it. In his address to the evangelicals, he makes clear his real concern for unity.

So here is what I am asking. I ask the Pope to apply that wide generosity to the SSPX and to normalize relations and their standing within the Church. I am asking the Pope to do this even without the total agreement on the Second Vatican Council. Whatever their disagreements, surely this can be worked out over time with the SSPX firmly implanted in the Church. I think that the Church needs to be more generous toward unity than to insist upon dogmatic adherence to the interpretation of a non-dogmatic council. The issues are real, but they must be worked out with our brothers at home and not with a locked door.

Modernism is Heresy.  No reconciliation is possible, not under the current pope.  According to Pope Francis The TLM is rather a kind of fashion. And if it is a fashion, therefore it is a matter that does not need that much attention. It is just necessary to show some patience and kindness to people who are addicted to a certain fashion. Clearly Pope Francis is more interested in dismantling Traditional Catholic Orders and belittling her members. He is no friend of SSPX , Protestant sects and Islam yes. The Holy Catholic Church NO!

Pope Francis Hit for Not Confronting Critics

Pope Francis may have delighted leftists with his depiction of the inequalities of capitalism, but there is also some unhappiness with his reluctance to engage those who openly oppose the Catholic Church. What has been difficult to understand is that Francis has not responded to attacks on the Church when they happen.

Praised by publications as far-left as Rolling Stone and the Village Voice, as Sandro Magister writes, Francis “never proclaims Church teaching out loud at a moment when the dispute over an issue has become heated. He has kept quiet now that the euthanasia of children has been permitted by law in Belgium. He keeps himself apart from the millions of citizens of every faith who in France and in other countries are opposing the dissolution of the idea of the family made up of father, mother, and children. He has remained silent after the unprecedented affront of the UN report.”

Magister compares Francis to his predecessor, Pope Benedict, and found him wanting, writing of the attacks on the Church

Until this week, I had no idea that Jimmy Fallon grew up Catholic.

Then I came across this interview from 2012. As it turns out, Fallon really loved the Church when he was a young boy. In the interview with Terri Gross on NPR’s Fresh Air, he talked about his childhood experience of Catholicism:

GROSS: So you went to Catholic school when you were young.

Mr. FALLON: Oh yeah.

GROSS: Did you have…

Mr. FALLON: I wanted to be a priest.

GROSS: Did you really?

Mr. FALLON: Yeah. I loved it.

Mr. FALLON: I just, I loved the church. I loved the idea of it. I loved the smell of the incense. I loved the feeling you get when you left church. I loved like how this priest can make people feel this good. I just thought it was – I loved the whole idea of it. My grandfather was very religious, so I used to go to Mass with him at like 6:45 in the morning, serve Mass. And then you made money, too, if you did weddings and funerals. You’d get like five bucks. And so I go ‘Okay, I can make money too.’ I go, ‘This could be a good deal for me.’ I thought I had the calling.

The Synod on the Family, Kasper and the Rebels

The Synod on the Family, Kasper and the Rebels:
the “Call for Mercy in Concrete Situations.”

The Church’s teaching on divorce is a hot topic from which no one can escape.  A good starting point to understand what is going on is a well-balanced article that appeared at the end of last year on La Bussola Quotidiana (The Daily Compass) by Matteo Matzuzzi that sketches and frames the essential terms of a debate that is unfolding.  This debate was stirred up by a paper written by Cardinal Reinhard Marx, Archbishop of Munich and Freising at the beginning of last November that was a real attack against the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Msgr. Gerhard Ludwig Müller.  There is a paradox in all of this, since the latter, whose position anchors him to first principles, is well known for his allergic reaction to Tradition.

Someone else who is involved in this debate is Cardinal Kasper, President Emeritus of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the Unity of Christians, who in the past few days opened, as the Pope wished, the Extraordinary Consistory on the Family.  On this occasion he said:  “I have offered a theological introduction to the beauty of the family.  We must begin with this in order to deal with the rest, including those burning problems that exist.

Cardinal Kasper: Sacraments for remarried divorcees only in ‘special circumstances’

Cardinal Kasper is a Modernist Heretic!  Sacraments for remarried only in Certain Circumstances!!!  Are you freaking kidding me!  Giving permission to commit adultery then allowing the adulterers to  profane the name above all names and permitting the horrific grave sin of sacrilege for receiving Holy Communion without prior confession and making amends with God and Not obeying  the words of our Lord ‘GO AND SIN NO MORE!!!  Jesus cannot enter therein  where it is not Holy!   God Will not be Mocked!!  This Bastard should be Ex-Communicated   because he is a Full-fledged Heretic!  You can bet he will do as he pleases when he is in Germany.

Cha-Ching $$$  but it will cost the offenders.  The German church is wealthy, very wealthy.  Its wealth has been estimated at €430 billion with interests ranging from television stations to mineral water. In Germany money talks and they hand over a great deal of money  to the Holy See and so everything is hushed and they have been doing this for years!!!  What is next for the Heretical freemason, abortion only in special circumstances??? The text is in 200 copies in circulation,  it will go viral and you can bet the Mass Media will have a field day with the talk! Here comes the shocker (well maybe not), the Pope praised the “profound theology” of the lecture!!  The theological foundation in Kaspers about two hours lecture could not be challenged. One cannot put themselves above God well I guess Kasper can or so he thinks.  Adultery is an injustice. He who commits adultery fails in his commitment. He does injury to the sign of the covenant which the marriage bond is, transgresses the rights of the other spouse, and undermines the institution of marriage by breaking the contract on which it is based. He compromises the good of human generation and the welfare of children who need their parents’ stable union.  — Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2335

He who commits adultery lacks sense;  he who does it destroys himself. He will get wounds and dishonor, and his disgrace will not be wiped away. For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will not spare when he takes revenge. He will accept no compensation; he will refuse though you multiply gifts.

— Proverbs 6:32-35

I believe Cheap and Fast Annulments will be the order of the day. Obviously you cannot go against Gods Holy Word and  break any of Gods commandments.

In his speech on the first day of the extraordinary consistory on the family, Cardinal Walter Kasper dealt with the issue of the administration of the sacraments to divorced people who have entered into a civil union…

Vatican Insider: Kasper’s proposal for remarried divorcees

The Church cannot question the words of Jesus on the indissolubility of marriage. Whoever expects the Consistory and the Synod to come up with “easy”, general solutions that apply to everyone, are mistaken. But given the difficulties which families today face and the huge rise in the number of failed marriages, new paths can be explored in order to respond to the deep needs of divorced people who have remarried as part of a civil union, who recognise their failure, convert and after a period of penance ask to be re-admitted to the sacraments. This is the opinion put forward by Cardinal Walter Kasper in a long speech to the Consistory’s cardinals and the Pope this morning. Francis had asked the German theologian not to come up with answers but to raise questions. And this seems to be what Kasper has done.  Kasper is a self professed heretic and if we had a pope in the vatican he would strip him of his title and send him packing but unfortunately we have a Modernist Pope who does not Judge!!   October should be very interesting, in the meantime we must fast and pray Francis resigns or is Removed!!!  For the Good of the Holy Catholic Church and all of us poor sinners!!

Most importantly, Kasper invited cardinals to consider the problem of remarried divorcees, and to look at this issue from the point of view of those who are suffering and asking for help. They must be encouraged to participate in Church life. Also because there are cases where it is patently clear that every possible effort made to save the marriage has failed. There is an element of heroism in abandoned spouses who go it alone and are left to raise children on their own. But there are many abandoned spouses who remarry, entering civil unions, also for the good of their children, but who cannot renounce their new marriage without fresh guilt.

Kasper explained that the Church cannot offer a solution that is different or which opposes Jesus’ words. The indissolubility of sacramental marriage and the impossibility of entering into a new marriage while a person’s former partner is still living cannot be done away with or dissolved on mercy grounds. After all, as the cardinals pointed out, mercy and faithfulness go together.

But Kasper pointed out that no human situation is completely devoid of hope or lacking a solution. However low a person can go, they can never fall beneath God’s mercy.

The cardinals spoke about the steps the Church has already taken over the past century: In the 1917 Code of Canon Law, divorced people who remarried in a civil ceremony were considered bigamous, public concubines, infamous and even liable for excommunication. The new Code promulgated by John Paul II does away with these punishments: remarried divorcees are not excommunicated, in fact they are confirmed as still being members of the Church.

According to Kasper, the Church today finds itself in a similar situation to what it was in after the last Council, the Second Vatican Council. Back then too, there were encyclicals, pronouncements and decisions issued by the Holy Office on questions such as ecumenism and religious freedom, which seemed to preclude other possible solutions. The Second Vatican Council opened some new doors without violating the Church’s sacred dogmatic tradition. So the cardinal wonders whether in a similar manner, this cannot be taken further, extending change to the situation of remarried divorcees but without wiping out the core tradition of the faith.

There is no general solution to this issue, the cardinal explained. He referred to an example John Paul II used in the “Familiaris consortio” of the remarried divorcees who were consciously, personally convinced that their previous marital bond having been irretrievably broken, was never valid in the first place. But this cannot be judged subjectively. Having said that, the legal path is not the only solution either.

Try to solve the issue by softening the annulment procedure for marriages would give the impression that the Catholic Church was being dishonest and actually secretly grants divorces.

Kasper observed that remarried divorcees cannot receive sacramental communion but can receive spiritual communion if they are spiritually virtuous: the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and Benedict XVI reiterated this at a world meeting of families in Milan. But when a person receives spiritual communion, they are considered as one with Jesus Christ. So how can they contradict a commandment issued by Jesus himself? Why can’t they receive sacramental communion as well?

HERESY!! Fr. Robert Barron Denies That Adam Was a “Literal Figure”

Adam. Now, don’t read it literally. We’re not talking about a literal figure. We’re talking in theological poetry. Adam: the first human being . . .

Sadly, it appears that Fr. Barron is heterodox on this point of the nature of Adam. He can’t deny that Adam was a literal figure and the first man, who fell, without this having dire consequences for the Catholic doctrine of original sin, per Pope Pius XII’s encyclical,Humani Generis (12 August 1950): one that was designed (in the subtitle) to counter “some false opinions threatening to undermine the foundations of Catholic doctrine”

Ratzinger: “My resignation is valid. Speculations are simply absurd”

Benedict XVI responds to a letter sent to him by the Vatican correspondent Andrea Tornielli. The journalist sent him some questions regarding the alleged pressures and conspiracies which some claim led to his resignation

Benedict XVI and Francis: a blending of papacies

(Vatican Insider) – ANDREA TORNIELLI

“There is absolutely no doubt regarding the validity of my resignation from the Petrine ministry” and the “speculations” surrounding it are “simply absurd”. Joseph Ratzinger was not forced to resign, he was not pressured into it and he did not fall victim to a conspiracy: his resignation was genuine and valid and there is no “diarchy” (dual government) in the Church today. There is a reigning Pope, Francis, who leads the Catholic Church and an Emeritus Pope whose “only purpose” is to pray for his successor.

The Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has put pen to paper to set the record straight on the historic decision he took one year ago, in response to the various interpretations that have been circulating in the press and on the web regarding his gesture. Writing from the Mater Ecclesiae monastery in the Vatican, he replied in person to a letter with some questions which we sent him a few days ago, after certain comments made in the Italian and international press about his resignation. Ratzinger was brief and to the point; he denied speculations about any secret reasons behind his resignation and urged people not to give undue importance to certain choices he has made, such as his decision to carry on wearing the white cassock after stepping down as Bishop of Rome.

Readers will recall the shock announcement Benedict XVI made on 11 February 2013, informing cardinals at the Consistory of his free decision to resign ingravescente aetate (because of old age): “I have come to the certainty that my strengths, due to an advanced age, are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry.” He also announced that the Apostolic See was going to be vacant as of the evening of 28 February when the cardinals would meet to begin the process of electing his successor. In the days that followed, Ratzinger informed he would be keeping his papal name Benedict XVI (the name with which he signed the letter he sent us), that he would from that moment on be referred to as Pope Emeritus (this title also appears in print on the letter) and that he planned to carry on wearing a white cassock, albeit a simpler version than the papal one: Ratzinger does not wear the short shoulder cape, known as the “pellegrina” and without the fascia.
